My specific goals for the upcoming Fitness apparaisal are to improve the number of my pushups (my muscular endurance) and to get more then 12 laps in the 12 minutes run.

The warm-up prepare the body for exercises by gradually increasing the heart rate and circulation for a physical activity.
• What constitutes a successful warm up?
A successful warm up consists of an increase in intensity in physical activity, joint mobility exercise and stretching followed by the activity.
• What’s the point of doing a cool down?
The point of doing a cool down is to prevent dizziness after a workout. It reduce heart and breathing rates, gradually cool body temperature and return muscles to their optimal length-tension.
• When is the best time to stretch and why?
The best time to stretch is when the muscles are warm and pliable mostly after a workout because it will help to further facilitate post-workout recovery.
• Why is stretching important?
Stretching is important because it keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints.
